  We went for Valentine's Day. Love it! The spaetzle is some of the best I've ever had, though I know that's not why people choose a restaurant. The duck was tasty as was the lamb shank. Their kids menu is great, but even better than that they are glued into children's books! The service was far from fast, but it was excellent.

  Classy, but not stuffy. Pricey, but worth it.The age of the building and it's lack of "modernization" give it that traditional Wisconsin supper club feeling, as do the crackers and the bread. The half duck was well done, but not dried out--perfect for a fall evening.

  The best authentic German food this side of the Atlantic. Exceptional atmosphere, great bar, cozy and quite. Would absolutely recommend for every occasion!

  Only reason I couldn't give them five stars was because I didn't get to try the German pancakes. After seeing them I definitely need one, next time. Also sitting out on the patio is quite lovely for brunch.
